Fruitful: An Abundant Yield

On the ninth day of Christmas my True Love gave to me,
nine gifts for fruiful living.

But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.
(Galatians 5:22,23a The Message)

  1. So, as you'll soon see, I put these verses in my post today about my word for the year being 'fit'–fit for Heaven, by showing the fruit of the Spirit in my life. Don't you just love it?

  2. love how God fits everything together for Good!

I love a dialogue. Be the first to start a discussion!
