Then God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters. (Genesis 1:6 NASB)
We never know the worth of water, until the well is dry. (Unknown)
When I think of water, I…
I thirst for…
Looking for patterns and interesting correlations…
“When I think of water…” I think of what my husband said about it today. At last night’s dinner, our food got cold too quickly, so today he stood at the sink running hot water into and over dishes to warm them. “If we lived in the city,” he said, we’d feel guilty doing this,” meaning wasting the public supply. We live in the country and have overflowing springs of good water. I often thank God for this wonderful gift, and it often reminds me of His well of “water” that within us can spring up to eternal life. I even wanted to name this place “Everspring” when we first lived here, but I guess we didn’t have the faith! Precious commodity indeed.
(Also, I really like your photography, Kel, and hope to keep seeing more of it!)
