GOD+ART (DAY 30)

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord . . . (Luke 1:46 KJV)

godart031

Like Mary, I can’t help but magnify the LORD. For His goodness. For pouring His love into my heart through the Holy Spirit.

O my soul, praise Him, laud Him, adore HIm, festoon Him with the the glory due His name.

I could never find enough words or ARTful expressions to exclaim the delight of belonging to GOD. Of loving GOD with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and my entire being.

As this series comes to an end, may this call to devotion from Brother Lawrence prepare our hearts for the ADVENT{ures} ahead:

“Since by His mercy He gives us still a little time, let us begin in earnest, let us repair the lost time, let us return with a full assurance to that FATHER of mercies, who is always ready to receive us affectionately. Let us renounce, let us generously renounce, for the love of Him, all that is not Himself; He deserves infinitely more. Let us think of Him perpetually. Let us put all our trust in Him: I doubt not but we shall soon find the effects of it, in receiving the abundance of His grace, with which we can do all things, and without which we can do nothing but sin.”

Come back tomorrow to celebrate the completion of the GOD+ART series. I have a special treat planned and a Giveaway!

To GOD be the glory! Great things He hath done!
