Because: For the Reason That

I know the Lord is always with me.
I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. (Psalm 16:8 NLT)

I am linking today with the Five Minute Friday crew! The word for today is BECAUSE!

GO!

Because is the answer given to the question why. Why is the question that I often ask because I like to know things. I want to know what causes certain things to happen. But God calls me to live by faith, and not always know all the answers. So I wait. Because, God is faithful.

God is faithful, because He cannot be otherwise. He loves you and me, because He just does! He likes us. He sculpted us before time. He knows a word before we even speak it. His thoughts are beyond my comprehension.

I am thankful because God is bigger than me, better than me and more loving than I could ever dream. And He wants me to become more like Him.

To let the whys fall to the side because His love is enough and His intentions toward me are good.

I can trust God, because I can. Because He is always good, always for me and always with me.

I love God, because He loved me first.

Because is answer enough when God says it. When God says it, He means “I love you!”

Just because.

This is so good: “To let the whys fall to the side because His love is enough and His intentions toward me are good.” Such a liberating truth, the moments we are able to live into this, isn’t it? I love the simplicity and beauty of your “because” and all the truths that go along with it. Thank you – your FMF neighbor 🙂

It was cool to make that connection that God is saying he loves us when he answers with because…it kind came out of my five minute ramble on the word…

  Thanks for stopping by Barbie. It is easy in my humanness to question His intentions…writing this brief remembrance of His “becauses” reminded me of His goodness…I need constant reminders of God’s love!
