Bruised and battered– Jesus unruffled, unadorned, stripped bare

Poised for rescue, His heart bleeds for the abused and abusing.

Setbacks and upsets crush our hearts.

Set up and crushed to death– Jesus restores serenity

Unto hearts destined for death; His power restarts.
