Let There Be Reason to Rejoice!

“Come now, let us reason together,”
says the LORD.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool. ”
(Isaiah 1:18 NIV)

  1. Kel, God gave me this first once on New Year’s Day, when I was walking around Lake St. Gallen out at Innsbrook on a snowy day. I was confessing my sins to the Lord, and with each snowdrop that fell, it’s as if there were His teardrops, and He was covering my sins with His cleansing grief and forgiveness. My sins, now covered, were as white as snow.

    1. Lynni- What a beautiful experience! God is so good to us!

  2. I’m getting to know Isaiah quite well during this advent season, so your verse really touched my heart, Kel … and I love the picture of you and your umbrella. Season’s blessings on you and yours!

    1. Linda- Isaiah is quite the book! I was reading some of the oracles (13-25) today judgement and doom laced with grace and relief and mercy. Blessings on you and yours as well! Thanks for stopping by and your compliment on the picture 🙂

  5. I’m truly an Isaiah fan. Always makes me rejoice with this one. Reasoning together with the Lord is a good think, doncha think? Forever… Love the photo and the Word. Fit together beautifully.

I love a dialogue. Be the first to start a discussion!
