Peace: Freedom from Disquieting Thoughts

Advent{ures}: Let’s Go to Bethlehem

The Way of Lights (Belleville, IL)

The second candle in the advent wreath can be designated the Preparation candle or the Bethlehem candle. As we continue to move towards Bethlehem, my prayer is that the discipline of preparation leads us to abundant PEACE.

  1. Amen to your trusting prayer for peace …

  2. I love paradox……like meek ineherting the earth. Peace. Ah for peace! Amen, come Lord Jesus (the only true and lasting peace). I love your photo, Kel. Almost looks like a setting at Our Lady of the Snows.

  3. Yes…Jesus is full of paradox…and wonder…and peace…I snapped that photo last Friday over at Our Lady of the Snows…more to come as we had a wonderful surprise while we were there…I will share the joy of the suprise during the third week of our Advent{ures}

  4. Kel, I'm anxious to hear about this 'surprise'. Loving this journey.

  5. thanks Jody! It was a fun thing that fits with JOY next week 🙂
