This is beautiful! Joining with you for Five Minute Friday 🙂

Very creative, Kel. I do think all the quiet, underground "work," as we assimilate nutrients, causes a lot more growth than activity. Getting quiet w/ you,LoveLynni

Hi Megan, I enjoyed reading your blog this morning, but couldn't find a way to comment. I so resonated, because I LOVE to meet with the Lord in my journal. It's a quiet, safe place, and it takes time. I think that that is a good thing…..luxuriating in time with Jesus. Bless you for writing on your blog what you did. And in journaling classes, we often do a "five-minute sprint." It's amazing how much one can say in a brief space of time. Blessings, Lynn Morrissey

The quiet allows for such beautiful wandering and meandering. I agree with Lynn above – this was such a creative take on "Quiet".

Awesome post.

Lynni- I am always suprised by the five minute fridays and the direction a single word takes us…I actually combined last week's word (roots) with this week's word (quiet) and then this little poem started scribbling itself on the page 🙂 I love our Creator who gives us creative moments…Love-Kel

thanks for stopping by and enjoying the quiet with me…I always have been fascinated by roots…it was Five Minute Friday's word last week and I was out of town…so I combined the words today and this is what came to the surface…

Megan- I love FMF and journaling and your post…I popped over and read it and left a comment…

Kel-Quiet and Roots……what a combination. This is the season for quiet, 'storing energy'. Love the direction the Lord lead you in this.

Thanks Jody- I love how the Lord weaves words, thoughts and ideas together to reveal a needed truth or direction or encouragement.
